Aadhar Card - Application and Procedure
If you want to apply for Aadhar Card, you need to fill the Aadhar form and approach any of the authorized Aadhar enrollment Centres along with documents of your Address Proof and Identity. And the rest of the procedure is as follows.
- Applicant must go through the documents verification process (done by officials)
- The enroller there will enter all applicant's data and asks applicant to validate the entry
- Then Biometric info (Iris and fingerprint) will be collected
- Photograph of applicant will be taken
- Applicant will be given an acknowledgement form with all the details.
A unique Aadhar Number for applicant will be generated. After 60 days to 90 days, applicant receives his/her Aadhar Number or Aadhar Card. This time may vary depending upon the internal process.
